Take a "Peek" - Fave of the Week!

This week I'm highlighting one of my absolute favorite boutiques to frequent for boy clothes. So many people say it's hard to find cute boy clothing. I disagree, well sort of. You just have to know where to go!  If you're like me, I LOVE to find clothing that's a little unique or not seen on every toddler in town. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of Gap, Janie & Jack, Old Navy and the like. But who doesn't like a fun find that's a stand out in a crowd... even at 2?!

When my little man was just a few months old, I stumbled across a store in Kierland Commons in North Scottsdale, called Peek... Aren't You Curious. There are only several locations including a few in Southern California, one in Scottsdale and one in Dallas. Here you will find adorable girly things, but fantastic boy duds too.  The quality of the clothing is truly unmatched and the service is great. You can find fun message tee's, adorable plaids, comfy shorts, pants and shirts as well as cute hoodies and sweats. One of my favorites are their layering thermals... sooo soft! They have a great selection of jeans too. What's fun about the store is their selection of fabulous children's books! This former teacher LOVED that aspect. It's a wonderful place to find a gift for your own child or for someone else :-)!

"Old School Kicks" : Fave of the Week... Converse!

  March Madness is in full swing so I thought I'd highlight this nearly 100 year old shoe that has become an American Legend. The Chuck Taylor - All Star revolutionized the game of basketball that has become a favorite worldwide. Now, the many styles Converse offers are worn by men, women, children and babies all over. There's such a wide selection of affordable shoes for all! Regardless of your personal style or functional needs, Converse is known for its value, durability, comfort, quality and fit that so many have enjoyed for decades.

Personally, being the mom of a 2 1/2 year old very active boy, I have found ballet flats, cute flip flops and sneakers to be my shoes of choice. Converse have become quite fashionable for women over the past several years. They're great with a skinny jean, cut off shorts or even a cotton dress or skirt. I've always been a shoe girl and I've passed on my love of shoes, to my 2 1/2 year old son. He wore his first pair at 3 months and now has quite the collection of All-Stars. They wear well, wash well, and look so darn cute.
 I have really enjoyed styling clients in all sorts of fun colors they offer!

If you haven't visited the Converse website, it's a must! You can find SO many unique colors and patterns and can even design your own pair, choosing your favorite color of the laces, to the color of the inside of the sneakers.
